Press mention from Private Equity Professional

Monomoy Capital Partners has closed on its third fund at an above target $767 million. Acalyx Advisors and Lazard Frères were placement agents.

Many of you know that Lazard is one the older investment banks having been founded in 1848 by the brothers Lazard – Alexandre, Lazare, and Simon – in New Orleans. On the other hand, Acalyx Advisors is one of the newest placement agents having been formed just last year by Jennifer Rinehart, formerly a managing partner at longtime placement agent MVision. In addition to helping Monomoy with fund three, Acalyx was the lead placement agent for American Industrial Partners on its $1.8 billion sixth fund which closed at its hard cap in September 2015 and Acalyx assisted Encore Consumer Capital with its third fund which closed at its hard cap of $225 million in June 2015. Acalyx – with offices in New York and San Francisco – looks like a firm to know (www.acalyx.com).
