Jennifer is a Partner and CEO of Acalyx Advisors, Inc.

At Acalyx, Jennifer works closely with General Partners throughout their firm’s life cycle as a trusted advisor. Jennifer has over sixteen years of global experience in corporate finance including investment banking, investor relations, fundraising, capital markets and financial advisory across alternative asset classes including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, distressed, mezzanine and credit.

Prior to co-founding Acalyx, Jennifer joined MVision Private Equity at its inception in 2001. After spending several years working in London with European General Partners, Jennifer moved back to open MVision’s New York office in 2003. Since 2010, Jennifer was the sole Managing Partner at MVision, where she was head of the New York office and a member of the Management Committee. During her tenure, Jennifer built a broad network of institutional investor relationships across the investor spectrum, consistently securing significant commitments from Sovereign Wealth Funds, public plans, corporate plans, insurance, financial, and gatekeepers. Jennifer seeks to have a deep level of understanding of institutional private equity programs, their objectives, and the decisionmakers involved, in order to help identify appropriate GP strategies for portfolios that spanned from nascent to mature private equity programs. Over the same period, Jennifer originated, led and executed some of the firm’s largest fundraising mandates and closed landmark funds for private equity firms around the globe. Jennifer developed marketing strategies, provided strategic advice and raised successive funds over varying market cycles for leading General Partners – including first time funds, spinout funds, global funds and specialized strategies – all of whom continue to be strong references or clients today.

Previously, Jennifer worked for Merrill Lynch & Co. as part of the private equity group within Merrill Lynch’s investment banking division which focused on raising institutional capital for private funds.

Jennifer has a B.A. from Yale University with a Concentration in Ethics, Politics & Economics.
