Joe is Managing Partner at Acalyx Advisors, Inc.

At Acalyx, Joe works closely with General Partners across all elements of the fundraising process, including managing the successful execution of fundraises. Joe is responsible for developing and maintaining investor relationships across North America and across LP types. Joe’s deep investor relationships have resulted in significant capital commitments and LP references.

Prior to Acalyx, Joe was with MVision where he was involved with a number of landmark fundraisings in the buyout, deep value, growth, and real asset strategies. This roster includes first time funds, spinout groups, sector specialists and generalists, particularly across the US and emerging markets. Joe also worked on a number of advisory assignments with General Partners, where he was involved in developing and implementing tailored investor relations and marketing strategies based on client-specific needs and goals in between their fundraisings.

Previously, Joe was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Equity Capital Markets Group, where he assisted in the origination and execution of global equity public offerings and development of strategic capital raising ideas for clients across various regions and sectors – executing over 30 transactions and raising proceeds of approximately $17 billion.

Joe holds a B.S. in Commerce with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
